Surfaces
Natural finish
Natural Finish means an unprocessed surface. Here the material or coating comes out pure and natural. The material (stainless steel, copper, brass) keeps its original structure and feel.
Brushed finish
Our brushed-finished cards have a unique texture and appearance, with fine lines or "brush strokes" running across the surface. Additionally, the surface is more resistant to scratches and fingerprints.
Textured finish
Our Textured Finish gives the surface a slightly, rough texture. It can be compared to a frozen or slightly leather-like surface. This structure has the advantage of avoiding fingerprints on the metal business cards.
Mirror finish
Our Mirror Finish is an impressive metal surface finishing option. We polish the surface so that you can see your reflection in it. The smooth, reflective surface is perfect for emphasizing the elegance of a high-quality metal business card. However, it also makes it a bit more susceptible to fingerprints.
Etched background pattern
Take the opportunity to texture the card surface with your pattern. We achieve the light embossing by an etching technique. We apply an acid to the surface of the metal business cards, which attacks and removes the material in certain places to create the desired pattern.

- CAN I ORDER SAMPLE CARDS?
- Yes, we have several sample cards made of different materials. See the menu item "Sample cards" on our homepage.
- CAN I ORDER INDIVIDUAL SAMPLES (WITH THE CUSTOMER'S EXACT DESIGN)?
- Yes, this costs 450€ (net) and the production time is approx. 20 working days. We need the design as a vector file.
- CAN YOU PRINT/LASER THE BUSINESS CARD ON BOTH SIDES?
- Yes, we opt for the screen printing process when printing on metal surfaces, as it yields the best results. We utilize PANTONE colours to ensure accurate colour reproduction, while images and gradients are printed in four-colour offset (CMYK).
- CAN I ALSO ORDER BLANK CARDS?
- Yes, all metals can also be ordered as blanks. Please write us an email at info@metaliccards.com
- Can the cards be embossed?
- Yes, "etching" can be chosen as a free service. Fonts, logos, and patterns can be embossed.
- Are the cards really made of steel?
- yes, our cards are real Stainless Steel business cards.
- I don't have a design, can you help me?
- We offer a design service at a flat rate of 150 € (net). If a logo exists and is to be used, it must be provided as a vector file.
- What is the minimum order quantity?
- The minimum order quantity is 50 pieces.
- How long does the delivery take?
- The production time for metal business cards is typically around 20 business days after proof approval. However, we also offer an express option for pre-made cards in stock (see our selection on the Express Cards page of our website), with a production time of up to 24 hours. To request express cards, please contact us via email at info@metaliccards.com or by phone to discuss the details.
- CAN YOU CUT OUT PARTS OF THE CARD (SO YOU CAN SEE THROUGH)?
- We call this service "cut-out." We offer this as a free service. Text, logos, and certain design elements can be cut out. Please check with us for technical possibilities.
- UP TO WHAT THICKNESS CAN THE CARD BE PROCESSED?
- Our business metal cards can be processed up to a thickness of 0.8 mm, depending on the card type.
- What shape can an NFC chip have?
- The coil of the NFC chip is round or square (with rounded corners) by default. Other shapes must be requested.
- Can an NFC chip also be transparent?
- Yes, NFC chips can also be ordered transparently, making it a cool digital business card feature.
- How is the QR code integrated on the metal card?
- The QR code is printed or lasered.
- Can the NFC chip be printed with a QR code?
- Yes, this is technically possible and highly recommended.
- Can a QR code be printed in color?
- Yes, a QR code can also be colour printed on our metal business cards .
- Are there any other materials?
- Yes, your metal business cards can also be in carbon fibre (carbon) and glass fibre.
